An advanced optical system with LED, narrow-band interference filter and silicon photocell works at 525 nm and is sealed against dust, dirt and water, while the holder positions round 24,6 mm cuvettes reproducibly. CAL Check™ with NIST-traceable standards enables performance verification and recalibration; a tutorial mode walks through sample preparation, reagents and volumes. The meter stores the last 50 readings, supports GLP recall of the last calibration, shows a reaction timer and battery status, and auto-powers off after inactivity.
