Description
EUROSTAR 400 control is a powerful electronic laboratory stirrer for highly viscous media and intensive mixing of volumes up to 150 l (H2O). It combines a removable remote control with a multilingual digital TFT display and microprocessor-controlled speed regulation from 0/6 to 2,000 min⁻¹ across two ranges, continuously equalising set and actual speed even when sample viscosity changes. RS 232 and USB interfaces enable control and documentation of all parameters, while an integrated torque trend display tracks viscosity changes in the sample. Programmable functions, interval operation, a timer, integrated temperature measurement, an adjustable safety circuit and a lock function expand application flexibility. Push-through stirring shafts, overload protection, short-term overload capability and a slim, quiet design complete the unit. The H 67.60 temperature sensor and WH 11 WiCo holder are included. Offered as one piece with a net weight of 8,200 kg from manufacturer IKA, this stirrer supports demanding laboratory mixing with full parameter control and documentation.
This article is part of Overhead stirrers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about EUROSTAR 400 control, Electronic overhead stirrer
What is this article?
EUROSTAR 400 control, Electronic overhead stirrer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Overhead stirrers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
An overhead stirrer drives a shaft from above, for volumes and viscosities a magnetic bar cannot move. Torque and speed range are the ratings. The chuck and the stand are part of using it. A high-speed disperser is a different head.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
