Description
BRANDplates® inertGrade™ 96-well microtiter plates are sterile polystyrene (PS) plates featuring a black body, transparent flat F-bottom and a well volume of 330 µl. The inertGrade™ surface treatment is intended to minimise cell adhesion, supporting suspension cultures and assays that benefit from reduced attachment. Built to BIO-CERT® CELL CULTURE QUALITY and supplied sterile, these plates from manufacturer Brand are ready for aseptic cell-culture and screening use. Their standard 96-well F-bottom design integrates with common microplate instrumentation, washers and liquid-handling systems. The transparent base permits bottom-reading optics and visual checks through each well, while the black frame works together with that optical window for detection on plate readers. Polystyrene construction delivers the dimensional stability required for everyday laboratory handling. Offered as a pack of 5 plates, this configuration is practical for pilot runs, lower sample numbers and laboratories that still require reproducible geometry, defined inertGrade™ surface behaviour and sterile delivery in a compact pack size.

What is this article?
Microplate, inertGrade, 96-well, PS, transp.b., black,'F'bottom 330 µl 5 pcs. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Brand for laboratory use. It sits in Microplates, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.
A microplate is an array of wells, commonly 96 or 384, in clear, black or white plastic. Clear is for absorbance. Black is for fluorescence. The well shape, flat or round bottom, and whether the plate is sterile and treated for cells, are the specification. Not every 96-well plate fits every reader.
A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
