Virgin PC has a high glass transition temperature (Tg) and can therefore be used in high temperature applications. However, a high Tg value can make it very difficult to print with desktop printers, as these are not usually equipped for the high printing temperatures required for printing virgin PC. Virgin PC actually tends to warp significantly when printed at an inadequate bed temperature (\u0026lt;130 ºC) in unheated closed chambers without the use of a suitable bed adhesive. Some manufacturers have improved the printability of PC by using plasticisers or blending it with other materials. However, there are still some difficulties to be considered when using these solutions, firstly adhesion can still be a problem, especially on larger parts. In addition, some bed adhesion sheets have been proposed to avoid the warping that occurs with larger prints, but in this case there is a high tendency for the adhesive sheet material used to fuse irreversibly with the print. This means that the expensive sheet has to be removed very often and also requires a lot of post-processing and cleaning. Magigoo PC can be used on glass or several other surfaces.
