Description
PRESTO W40 process thermostat is a water-cooled, highly dynamic temperature control system that combines high performance with a very compact design for a working temperature range from −40 °C to +250 °C. The PRESTO platform is intended for precise temperature regulation in applications such as reactor temperature control and material stress testing. Efficient components enable extremely rapid compensation of exothermic and endothermic reactions. Temperature stability is ± 0,01 to ± 0,05 °C. Heating capacity reaches up to 2,7 kW and cooling capacity up to 1,2 kW. The centrifugal pump provides pressures up to 1,7 bar and a maximum flow rate of 40 l/min. An integrated 5,7'' colour industrial touchscreen supports straightforward operation, complemented by a Pt100 external sensor connection, optional second Pt100 connection, alarm output, RS232, and extensive interfaces including analogue connections, RS485 and optional Profibus DP for remote control via networks or integration into overarching control systems. Permanent internal monitoring and self-lubricating pumps contribute to a long service life. This process thermostat from manufacturer Julabo is supplied as 1 pc with a net weight of 78 kg.

Questions about PRESTO W40 Highly dynamic temperature control system
What is this article?
PRESTO W40 Highly dynamic temperature control system is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Julabo for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
