This redundancy circuit manages the operation of two Protegra systems connected in parallel with downstream tank and level measurement, pressure booster pumps (distribution pumps) and Q3 discharge. The redundancy system also comes with a start/ stop warning system, conductivity measurement and pressure sensors controlling the booster pumps.
Permeate production is alternated between the two RO systems. If the tank level drops below the activation value of 50%,the second system is activated.
This value is adjustable.
The distribution is carried out by both pumps in alternation. When the pressure reaches a minimum or maximum, the pumps are switched off. These pressure values are preset to 1 bar (minimum)and 6 bar (maximum) and are adjustable.
