This Midicaps® format delivers strong throughput performance and broad chemical compatibility for dependable operation with process fluids. Advanced fleece media provide robust particle retention and high dirt-holding capacity, supporting stable flow while protecting downstream steps. The all-polypropylene construction yields a low extractables profile and supports maximal product recovery; low unspecific binding further contributes to elevated product yield. Midicaps® capsules from manufacturer Sartorius are well suited to small-scale production where compact encapsulated filters simplify installation and change-out. Each unit is rated at 0,65 µm in Size 7 geometry and is supplied in a pack of 4 pc(s), with a net weight of 0,520 kg per capsule. These filters address clarification and prefiltration duties that require consistent particle control without compromising recovery in biopharmaceutical workflows.

This article is part of Filter cartridges & capsules, in Filtration.

Key features

Pack size: 4 pc(s)

Storage temperature: Room Temperature

Pore size: 0,65 µm

Capsule size: Size 7

Filter medium: Polypropylene fleece

Construction: All-polypropylene
