Each of the 96 wells provides 1000 µL capacity; the white plate carries 2D SafeCode technology with three-level coding for dependable sample and vessel identification. Codes appear on three sides of the plate for flexible reading, while the ECC 200 error-correction function enables reliable code readout even when up to 30 % of a code is damaged. Additional ID-specific information for documentation purposes can be retrieved via the Eppendorf DataPort, and data import is supported directly into eLabInventory and eLabJournal® software as well as other database systems. Made from high-quality polypropylene by manufacturer Eppendorf to favour high sample purity, the plates come as a pack of 20 (5 bags × 4 plates).
