The insert strip serves to hold the insert vessels.

Insert cups are used for the application of chemically aggressive liquids (e.g. TICKOPUR J 80 U), the removal of chemically aggressive or abrasive contamination or the sonication of sample liquids (indirect sonication). Since nothing must be placed on the bottom of the ultrasonic bath, BANDELIN offers suitable perforated covers to hold the insert beakers. Another advantage: When using one insert strip, several insert cups can be sonicated simultaneously with different liquids (e.g. removal of dental cements with STAMMOPUR Z in one insert cup and cleaning with simultaneous chemical disinfection of dental instruments with STAMMOPUR DR 8 in a second insert cup).

Please note that to transfer the ultrasound to the insert cup, the surface tension of the water must be reduced and therefore a cleaning solution (e.g. TICKOPUR R 33 - 3%) must be used as coupling liquid / contact liquid.
