Description
CBC ROTAVISC lo-vi Package S002 is a ready-to-connect rotational viscometer system for precise viscosity measurement of temperature-dependent laboratory samples. It pairs the ROTAVISC lo-vi rotational viscometer with the CBC VISC lite refrigerated and heating circulator so that the sample is measured directly in the temperature-controlled bath. The viscometer covers a measuring range of 1–6.000.000 mPas, while the circulator from manufacturer IKA operates from −25 °C to 125 °C and accommodates two standard 600 ml beakers, allowing a second sample to be pre-tempered during a run. Natural refrigerant R290 supports a lower environmental impact, and optimised water-flow management in the insulated bath provides rapid, accurate temperature control. An external pump connection enables heating of DIN standard vessels for absolute viscosity determination with ELVAS spindles or double-walled beakers. A removable, easy-to-clean air filter simplifies maintenance, and both units are compatible with labworldsoft® software for automation, control and documentation of results. The package is supplied with a UK mains plug as a complete single unit.

What is this article?
CBC ROTAVISC lo-vi Package S002 , Rotational viscometer with refrigerated and he is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
