The maximum force range of the motorized test stand is 500 kg. The use of the motorized test bench requires a power connection. The feed speed is variably adjustable between 30 mm/min and 230 mm/min. The precise measurement procedure is thus guaranteed with the motorized test stand. The force test stand is compatible with the following device series: PCE-FB series, PCE-FM series, PCE-LFG series and the PCE-PTR 200.
Wherever the human body reaches its limits in terms of force measurement, the motorized test stand comes into play. The user of the motorized test stand is obliged to prepare a risk analysis. If it emerges from this that the type of application and the samples pose a risk to the user, a safety device may be required, especially in the case of the test stand operated by an electric motor.
The force gauge with an external load cell is designed for the measurement of compressive forces at hard-to-reach measuring points. The load cell is connected to the force gauge by a sensor cable of approx. 3 m length and thanks to the small cell dimensions it ensures a versatile application. The force gauge load cell has several threaded holes on the underside, which allow a fixed installation.
The force gauge can operate at a sampling rate of up to 1600 Hz. The sampled measured values are displayed as an instantaneous value, as well as in a graph trace directly in the force gauge.
The measurements can be stored in the internal memory or transmitted via USB interface with the included software with a maximum of 800 Hz as a live measurement.
The PEAK Hold function allows freezing of the highest measured value in the force gauge until this value is exceeded or cleared.
The force gauge offers the option of storing two limit values, which are continuously compared with the instantaneous value. When exceeding or falling below these limits, a signal is displayed in the display of the force gauge, as well as a response via external interfaces, e.g. this can be used for the control of a testing machine.
The PCE-DFG FD 300 is a useful extension to the material test stand PCE-MTS 500 in connection with a force measuring device (e.g. PCE-DFG N 5K). This extension allows force-displacement diagrams and curves to be created. The software included in the scope of delivery offers the user an optimized interface for evaluating diagrams and graphs. In this way, material tests can be carried out with forces of up to 5000 N (500 kg / 1102 lb).
