The colourless tips measure 40 mm in length and are presented in medium-grey colour-coded trays for straightforward volume and pipette recognition. Each unit supplies 960 tips arranged in 10 trays of 96 tips, a reload configuration that produces a lower waste volume than disposable racks. Refill trays from manufacturer Eppendorf are autoclavable at up to 121 °C both in the packaging and without foil for subsequent use. According to tip size, the trays in the refill system are packed either nested against one another or stacked. The tips are supplied in PCR clean purity grade and are ACT-certified, reflecting independent sustainability validation of third-party products by My Green Lab.
