Description

Maxxline 2,0 mL Cryovials are sterile cryogenic vials intended for secure sample collection and long-term cryopreservation in research and biobanking laboratories. Manufactured from a unique polypropylene formulation, the tubes withstand temperatures from −196 °C to 121 °C and exhibit high pressure tolerance, covering liquid-nitrogen storage through to heat-sterilisation cycles. Each sterile Maxxline cryovial is produced to support contamination-free workflows: sterilisation complies with international standards, and both vials and packaging are free from detectable heavy-metal contamination. Batches are additionally tested for BSE/TSE, cytotoxic substances and detectable RNases/DNases so samples remain protected from packaging-borne impurities. The external-thread geometry lowers contamination risk without increasing vial bulk, and quick-closure caps engage or release with a half turn. A lip seal on every cap provides leak-proof sample containment. Nominal fill volume is 2,0 mL (0,002 l). Delivered sterile in cartons of 1000 pieces by manufacturer AHN Biotechnologie under the Maxxline ® trademark, these 2,0 mL cryovials are well suited to cell banking, clinical research aliquots and molecular biology storage where robust, externally threaded PP vessels are required.

Questions about Maxxline 2.0 mL Cryo Tubes, sterile, Case / 36 pcs.

What is this article?

Maxxline 2.0 mL Cryo Tubes, sterile, Case / 36 pcs. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes AHN Biotechnologie for laboratory use. It sits in Cryogenic vials & tubes, inside Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.

A cryogenic vial is a small tube with a seal made for very low temperatures. Internal and external threads differ. A vial that will see liquid nitrogen has to be rated for it, and it should not be overfilled, because trapped liquid expands. The cap insert is part of the seal.

Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
