Description

Bunsen burner for butane and propane gas with safety valve is a laboratory gas burner built for controlled heating with an added flame-failure safeguard. It includes a needle valve and flame stabiliser for precise flow control and a stable flame, plus a safety valve that shuts off the gas supply if the flame extinguishes unexpectedly. The safety valves are homologated and supplied with a CE conformity certificate under EU Directive 2016/426. The burner tube is nickel-plated brass, 11 mm in diameter and 130 mm in height. Suitable for butane and propane, it works in the 30–200 mbar range, with 50–150 mbar recommended. Connection is via a standard hose inlet requiring a hose clamp (not included) or a 1/4″ threaded fitting. This single-piece unit from manufacturer Labbox has a net weight of 0,479 kg and supports chemistry, biology and teaching laboratories that need adjustable open-flame heating with automatic gas shut-off for safer bench operation.

Questions about Sekur-flam burner for LPG

What is this article?

Sekur-flam burner for LPG is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Bunsen & gas burners, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A Bunsen or gas burner is an open flame for quick heating, for flaming a loop, or for bending glass. The gas, natural gas or cartridge, has to match the burner. It is the wrong heat for a flammable solvent.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
