Description
Semi-micro cuvette 104F-QS is a precision optical cell made from high-performance quartz glass for fluorometric work across the 200 nm to 2500 nm wavelength range. It offers a path length of 10 × 4 mm, a nominal fill volume of 1400 µl (0,0014 l) and a PTFE fold-over lid for secure sample handling. Hellma precision cuvettes are manufactured entirely in Germany and fit all common spectrophotometers. Thermally bonded rather than glued, the cells combine high chemical and thermal resistance with leak-tight joints, supporting continuously reproducible results through tight path-length accuracy and parallelism. Selected high-performance quartz glasses deliver excellent transmission above 82 % for exact readings. Chamfered edges enable safe, comfortable handling and minimise chipping risk. The durable design can be cleaned and reused as a sustainable laboratory option. Production follows EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 and meets high optical standards; conformity documentation is available from the manufacturer. The quartz material carries the registered trademark SUPRASIL®. Supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 0,0128 kg.

Questions about semi-micro cell, 104F
What is this article?
semi-micro cell, 104F is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hellma (IDL) for laboratory use. It sits in Cuvettes, in Labware.
A cuvette is an optical cell. The spectrophotometer or photometer sends a beam through a defined path length, usually 10 mm, and the absorbance is read from that path. Glass is for the visible range. Quartz or a UV-grade plastic is required below about 320 nm, because ordinary glass absorbs there. The path length and the wavelength window are the two numbers that choose the cell. The optical methods that use it sit with NIST and the BIPM. Laboratory ware is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
