Description

Nalgene™ tank liners of coex polyethylene film are flat-bottom open-bag liners that expand mixing options for cost-effective single-use processing of biopharmaceutical and diagnostic reagent fluids in fixed cylindrical plastic tanks. The coextruded polyethylene film is free from animal-derived components (ADCF) and is gamma-irradiated, food-grade, non-cytotoxic and certified pyrogen-free. These liners are sized for a working capacity of 55 gal. (208 L) and fit Nalgene cylindrical tanks from 19 L (5 gal.) up to 787 L (200 gal.). Supplied as a case of 10 pieces from manufacturer Thermo Scientific, they support disposable workflows that reduce cleaning burden and cross-contamination risk when handling reagent liquids. The polyethylene construction provides reliable containment for laboratory and production-scale mixing applications in biopharma and diagnostics. Use them to convert reusable tank systems into single-use process vessels while maintaining compatibility with standard Nalgene cylindrical tank formats.

Questions about Tank Liner,208L/55Gal, 25kGy

What is this article?

Tank Liner,208L/55Gal, 25kGy is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics for laboratory use. It sits in Canisters & jerrycans, inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A canister or jerrycan holds litres, not millilitres, and it is shaped to be carried and to pour. The material has to survive the liquid for the whole time the can sits in the store.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
