Description

Nalgene™ tank liners of coex polyethylene film are flat-bottom open-bag liners that expand mixing options for cost-effective single-use processing of biopharmaceutical and diagnostic reagent liquids in rigid cylindrical plastic tanks. The gamma-irradiated, food-grade coex polyethylene film is free from animal-derived components (ADCF), non-cytotoxic and certified pyrogen-free. This 10 gal. (38 L) liner is intended for use with Nalgene cylindrical tanks ranging from 19 l (5 gal.) to 787 l (200 gal.), protecting the vessel and simplifying changeover between batches. Supplied as a case of 10 pieces from manufacturer Thermo Scientific – Laboratory Plastics, the liners support disposable workflows in laboratory and production settings where hygienic handling of reagents is required. The open-bag design with flat bottom facilitates straightforward installation and removal while maintaining process integrity for aqueous reagent liquids.

Questions about Tank Liner,38L/10Gal, 25kGy

What is this article?

Tank Liner,38L/10Gal, 25kGy is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics for laboratory use. It sits in Canisters & jerrycans, inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A canister or jerrycan holds litres, not millilitres, and it is shaped to be carried and to pour. The material has to survive the liquid for the whole time the can sits in the store.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
