Beschreibung
Digital hand force gauge KERN MAP 130K1 is a precision hand-grip dynamometer for determining closing force of the hand, for example in rehabilitation after accidents. It is particularly suited to rehabilitation centres, where four measuring modes help medical staff assess hand fitness and guide controlled training: real-time mode shows current force directly, peak-value mode displays maximum grip force, average mode calculates mean force from two grips, and count mode tallies presses that exceed a predefined force threshold. The instrument supports detection of reduced hand strength linked among other things to mortality risk in ageing people or to malnutrition during chemotherapy and similar treatments. Non-slip rubber grips ensure safe, comfortable handling, with AUTO-OFF after 1 min to conserve batteries and switchable units between kg and lb. This special version for strength athletes provides application reserve through its dimensions and enlarged measuring range. Interchangeable springs (additional spring sets included) enable rapid capacity changes so the gauge can be used across patient groups from children and seniors to sports medicine. A sturdy transport and storage case measuring 350×265×85 mm (W×D×H) is supplied as standard from manufacturer Kern. Pack size: 1 pc(s); net weight 0,35 kg.

Questions about Digital Hand Grip Dynamometer KERN MAP, 130K1
What is this article?
Digital Hand Grip Dynamometer KERN MAP, 130K1 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes KERN for laboratory use. It sits in Hygrometers & humidity meters, inside Temperature measurement, in Präzisionsinstrumente.
A hygrometer measures the water in the air, as relative humidity or as dew point. It is the instrument for a desiccator room, a stability chamber or a store. The sensor drifts, and the calibration is part of believing the number.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
