Zelfs gels met stapelgels van slechts één acrylamideconcentratie vertonen een eiwitscheidingskwaliteit die vergelijkbaar is met die van gradiëntgels. De bandweergave is aanzienlijk verbeterd ten opzichte van standaard buffersystemen.ROTIPHORESE®PAGE Matrix Buffer plus biedt ook een verhoogde gelsterkte, waardoor het hanteren van de gels veel gemakkelijker wordt, bijvoorbeeld bij het scheiden van de glasplaten of tijdens transport.
