Herstel van functioneel intact DNA in één centrifugeerstap. De agarose-slice wordt direct in het vooraf gemonteerde apparaat geplaatst en gedurende 10 minuten gecentrifugeerd (fig. B). Smelten of enzymatische digestie is niet vereist. De agarose-slice wordt verneveld en het DNA wordt gefilterd en gezuiverd tijdens het centrifugeren. Het eluaat kan eenvoudig in de extractiebuis worden bewaard of uit de buis worden verzameld om het DNA te gebruiken voor daaropvolgende analyses.
Compatibel met alle agaroses met een standaard geleringstemperatuur (niet compatibel met Low-Melting agarose). Geschikt voor fragmenten van 100 bp tot 10.000 bp. Ook ideaal voor gelabeld DNA, bijv. na fluorescentie- of radioactieve labeling. Betrouwbare recovery-percentages voor fragmenten van 100 bp tot 2.000 bp. De gelextractie-units kunnen worden gebruikt met alle standaard gelelektroforese-buffers. Na elutie uit gels die zijn gedraaid met ROTIPHORESE® 10x TAE-buffer licht rechtstreeks voor kloneren of sequensen.
