anti-Keratin K6 mouse, monoclonal, KA12, 50 µg/ml, affinity purified (made by PROGEN), Density (D) ~1 g/cm³, Boiling point (bp) ~100 °C, Storage temp. +4 °C
This antibody portfolio includes a wide range of tissue- & tumor-specific primary antibodies for basic research, product development and analysis of a variety of biological questions. The monoclonal antibodies are perfectly applicable for all cell or tissue biology studies and for the analysis of predictive markers in research.
- High epitope affinity
- Highly specific detection of the target protein
- Unconjugated
- Suitable for e.g. western blot, immunoprecipitation, ELISA & immunofluorescence
Ks6.KA12 represents an excellent marker for non-keratinized squamous epithelia and proliferating cells of epidermis (e.g. within psoriatic lesions). Polypeptide reacting: Mr 56,000 polypeptide (keratin K6; formerly also designated cytokeratin 6) of human squamous epithelia. Tissues and tumors specifically detected: the antibody is suitable for discrimination of keratinizing and non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma versus e.g. poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma.
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) - frozen: 1:5-1:50 (1-10 μg/ml)Immunohistochemistry (IHC) - paraffin: 1:5-1:50 (1-10 μg/ml, microwave treatment recommended)Western Blot (WB): assay dependent
