The 45 mm Phenolic over-cap screws down over the open-top aluminium GL 45 cap covering the septum or stopper. The phenolic cap protects the septum or stopper from damage and contamination during storage or shipping. Phenolic Caps provide a wide range of chemical compatibility and temperature tolerance.
