Coliforms chromogenic Agar, for microbiology, Storage temp. +15 to +25 °C
The addition of tryptophane enables an indole test for E. coli.
Staining of species: A: E. coli blue (by reaction of the β-D-Glucuronidase) B: Other coliforms salmon-coloured (by reaction of the β-D-galactosidase) E. coli (blue) and Citrobacter (salmon-coloured).
