General features:
- Easy application due to visual measuring technique
- Simultaneous observation and testing of three samples possible
- Place the sample in the capillary tube and insert it into one of the openings on the side of the heating block, and adjust the heating rate
- Heat up at 20 °C/min until close to the melting temperature (at approx. 60% of the expected melting point), then set a slower heating rate of 1 to 10 °C/min
- White LED for illuminated samples, visual inspection of the capillary is done via a magnifier and determination of the temperature via a thermometer filled with alcohol
Delivery incl. 100 melting point tubes (open at both sides).
