Test ink blue, arcotest® 43 mN/m, Density (D) ~1 g/cm³, Flash point (flp) 40 °C

Test inks can provide information about the adhesive strength of printing inks, paints and adhesives on all surfaces such as plastic, metal and glass and about the degree of cleanliness in mN/m (dyne/cm).

The test inks are liquids (from 30 to 72 mN/m according to ISO 8296 corresponds to DIN 53364, ASTM D 2587, JISK 6768) with a defined surface tension, which are coloured blue. The surface tension of the material to be tested is determined by simply applying the test inks. They are available in a range from 18 to 105 mN/m surface tension, in bottle or stick form (28 to 72 mN/m). Colourless: 18, 74, 76, 84, 90 and 105 mN/m. Toxic from 24 to 57 mN/m. Result: If the edges of the brush, cotton swab or pencil application contract within 2 seconds, repeat the measurement with the next lowest value. If the edges run outwards, repeat the measurement with the next highest value. The surface tension is reached when the line remains in place for just 2 seconds.

Shelf life 1 year unopened, 6 months after opening. Individual components of the test inks evaporate to varying degrees. Close bottles and pens tightly after use.
