Description
Manual Shore test stand SAUTER TI-D is a lever-operated hardness test stand designed for reproducible Shore hardness measurements on plastics, leather and similar materials. A glass base plate provides high measurement accuracy thanks to the greater hardness of the glass support surface, while the robust mechanical construction enables precise test movements. A levelling device allows exact alignment of the base plate, which is useful for inhomogeneous specimens. Operation is straightforward: the SAUTER HBD hardness tester is mounted in a hanging position, the specimen is placed on the round test table directly beneath the indenter, and pressing the lever releases the test weight so that the indenter is driven into the sample under defined force. Measurement accuracy with this stand is approximately 25 % higher than with hand-held testing. The hardness measuring instrument itself is not included in the scope of delivery. Net weight is 8 kg and gross weight 10 kg. This Kern SAUTER unit suits quality control and materials laboratories that need consistent Shore testing geometry without relying on manual probe guidance alone.

Questions about Manual Shore Test Stand SAUTER TI-D
What is this article?
Manual Shore Test Stand SAUTER TI-D is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Kern for laboratory use. It sits in Force gauges & torque meters, inside Other instruments & spare parts, in Lab instruments.
Some instruments do not sit cleanly in one measuring principle, and every instrument eventually needs a spare: a lamp, a fuse, a seal, a knob. The spare has to be the part for that model. A near match is a different part. Calibration of the instrument, once it measures, belongs with EURAMET, BELAC and the BIPM.
Which category should I open next?
The category is Other instruments & spare parts. The sub-category is Force gauges & torque meters. The catalogue is Lab instruments.
Shelves beside this one are Lab instruments.
What should I check before I order?
When this page shows a safety data sheet, use that manufacturer file. Hazard text does not belong in the sales description. For a pack size, a grade or a certificate that is not on the page, send a quote request or contact the team.
