Description

EasySyn 2000 Starter is a complete laboratory reactor system for organic or aqueous synthesis, supporting safe and reproducible reactions on the path from laboratory to pilot scale. The package includes a double-walled 2000 ml reactor vessel made of chemically resistant borosilicate 3.3 glass with bottom outlet and a spring-loaded drain-valve spindle that reduces the risk of glass breakage. An ergonomically designed stand system with DN 150 vessel clamp permits quick vessel exchange and convenient adjustment of working height. The reactor lid features multiple ports (1 × NS 29/32 stirrer guide, 2 × NS 29/32, 1 × NS 14/23) for flexible adaptation to the intended application. High-quality materials allow operation from –50 to 200 °C and under vacuum down to 3 mbar. A robust EUROSTAR 60 digital overhead stirrer (60 Ncm) with quick-action chuck drives a PTFE-coated pitched-blade impeller through a vacuum-rated shaft guide, ensuring thorough mixing and chemical resistance. DN 150 clamping ring and FEP-coated O-ring complete the chemically resistant seal. This ready-to-use starter package from manufacturer IKA is complemented by a wide range of optional glass reactors, lids, stirrers, sensors and thermostats; tempering hoses for thermostat connection are not included in the scope of supply.

Questions about EasySyn 2000 Starter, Laboratory reactor 2000 ml

What is this article?

EasySyn 2000 Starter, Laboratory reactor 2000 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
