HABITAT cell cct S002 is a control unit package for bioreactor cell culture, including the option for additional sensors and supplied with a UK plug. It delivers precise monitoring and control of cell culture processes via a control tower with connections for gas supply, liquid addition, multiparameter sensors and temperature regulation, complemented by a user-friendly 10,4-inch tablet. From manufacturer IKA, this HABITAT cell control tower supports batch, fed-batch and perfusion/continuous modes and offers chaotic mixing for effective, homogeneous agitation. Software provides calibration management, real-time data visualisation and comprehensive process documentation, with optional FDA CFR Part 11 compliance. Four integrated mass flow controllers enable adjustable gassing with N2, O2, air and CO2 at flow rates from 0,01 to 2 L/min, maintained by cascade control. Four bidirectional Watson-Marlow pumps accurately handle acids, bases, antifoam and feed solutions for mammalian cell culture media management. Standard sensing covers pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, level and foam; optional sensors include CO2, conductivity and turbidity. Compact design measures 223 × 402 × 450 mm (W × D × H).
