Description

PumpMaster aqueous liquids, PP/EPDM, red is a manual overpressure canister and drum pump for conveying aqueous, non-aggressive to slightly alkaline liquids. High-quality EPDM seals make the red unit well suited to water-based media in laboratory, food, chemical and general industrial settings. Three universal stoppers fit openings from 46,5 to 60 mm diameter, allowing quick mounting without knowing the exact thread. The multi-element delivery tube can be shortened to the container height. A hand piston generates air overpressure that drives liquid out of the vessel; the integrated tap provides precise dosing, locks for continuous free flow, and can take a reducing nozzle to restrict throughput. Lightweight, compact and independent of electricity or compressed air, this PumpMaster from manufacturer Bürkle is flexible for filling, transferring and emptying canisters and drums. After use, residual overpressure is released through the drain screw. The red PP/EPDM configuration keeps aqueous liquids under reliable manual control wherever simple, power-free dispensing is needed.

Questions about PumpMaster non-aggressive liquids, PP/EPDM, red

What is this article?

PumpMaster non-aggressive liquids, PP/EPDM, red is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Drum, barrel & transfer pumps, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.

A drum or barrel pump transfers tens of litres from a can that is too heavy to pour. Hand and electric drives differ. The tube material, stainless steel or plastic, has to survive the liquid. It is a transfer tool, not a metering pipette.

A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
