Description

Drum pump stainless steel with hose and tap, 91 cm, is a versatile piston pump for transferring flammable or aggressive liquids and chemicals. High-grade stainless steel 1.4301 and PTFE seals provide corrosion resistance and smooth pump action even in demanding media. Electrical conductivity qualifies the pump for highly flammable liquids; it is engineered for zones 0 and 1 (explosion groups II A and II B) and is DEKRA-tested. Combustible media require proper earthing during use. The 1,2 m flexible outlet hose with shut-off tap feeds liquid directly into the target container, so the receiving vessel can stand wherever is most convenient while flow is metered accurately and unintended runoff is reduced. Compatible with drums, containers and other packages of roughly 60 to 1000 l and immersion depths up to 91 cm, the unit is well suited to workshop and production duties. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Bürkle, this robust stainless-steel drum pump supports safe, efficient transfer and dosing across chemical, pharmaceutical and food environments and delivers a strong balance of durability and value compared with conventional pumps for highly flammable solvents.

Questions about Stainless steel barrel pump w/d. hose/stopc.,91cm

What is this article?

Stainless steel barrel pump w/d. hose/stopc.,91cm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Drum, barrel & transfer pumps, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.

A drum or barrel pump transfers tens of litres from a can that is too heavy to pour. Hand and electric drives differ. The tube material, stainless steel or plastic, has to survive the liquid. It is a transfer tool, not a metering pipette.

A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
