maxMIX single-position magnetic stirrer is a powerful laboratory instrument designed for chemical and biotechnological applications requiring stirring volumes from 1 to 150 litres, including highly viscous media. The unit features a large stirring platform and an exceptionally strong magnetic coupling based on SmCo magnets, enabling reliable power transmission over greater distances, through thick vessel bottoms or double-walled vessels. A maintenance-free motor drive provides a wide speed range of 100 to 1,200 rpm with a maximum stirring power of 40 W. Integrated controls include an adjustable SoftStart function (20–99 s) for secure catch and acceleration of the stir bar, digital display for speed and SoftStart settings, QuickSet for rapid selection of start or maximum speed, and QuickStop to prevent after-run and glass breakage. The fully encapsulated stainless-steel housing is sealed to IP64, easy to clean and highly durable. Developed and made in Germany by manufacturer 2mag, the stirrer measures 265 × 320 × 68 mm and is built for continuous duty in quality assurance and pilot-plant environments.
