MIXdrive 6 stirring system with external control is an ultra-flat, wear-free magnetic stirrer featuring six stirring positions optimised for simultaneous work with six 1000 ml Erlenmeyer flasks. The 6 (2 × 3) positions use a 100 % wear- and maintenance-free 2mag induction drive for powerful mixing, fully synchronous rotation and jerk-free stirring even at low speeds. Maximum stirring volume per position is 3,000 ml; maximum stirring power is 40 W. The fully encapsulated, hermetically sealed stainless-steel housing is rated IP68, water-, dust- and germ-tight, highly robust and easy to clean. It is immersible in water or oil baths and suitable for CO2 incubators and ovens (basic version up to +50 °C). Position spacing is 130 mm; overall dimensions are 245 x 375 x 38 mm (W x D x H). Developed and made in Germany by manufacturer 2mag, the unit requires a separate MIXcontrol controller (order separately). Operating voltage max. 48 VDC; net weight 8,60 kg.
