Description
Backflow preventer / pipe interrupter G 1''/ 3/4'' CA295 is a system separator for safeguarding drinking-water installations against back pressure, backflow and back-siphonage. It is suitable for fluids up to and including liquid category 3 in accordance with DIN EN 1717. The valve body is made of dezincification-resistant brass with external-thread pipe connection G 1''/ 3/4''. Operating limits include a maximum medium temperature of 65 °C, static pressure PN10 and a minimum inlet pressure of 1,5 bar; installation is horizontal. The design integrates a dirt strainer, offers compact construction and unobstructed access to internal parts, and combines low pressure drop with high flow capacity. Triple safety is provided by two check valves and a drain valve that divide the separator into three chambers. Approvals include KIWA, WRAS, BELGAQUA and NF (DN 15), with testing according to prEN 14367 (DN 15). Medium is water. Offered by manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies as a single piece, this CA295 unit supports isolation of potable-water lines where category 3 protection is required.

Questions about BACKFLOW PREVENTER CA295 - G 1'' / 3/4'', brass
What is this article?
BACKFLOW PREVENTER CA295 - G 1'' / 3/4'', brass is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
