b.safe Cap S40 with stopcocks is a screw cap for S40 bottle threads designed for safe solvent and eluent handling in the laboratory. The yellow glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) outer cap carries a freely rotatable PTFE insert, so tubing stays untwisted when the bottle is opened or closed. PFA fittings accept capillaries with 3,2 mm outer diameter via UNF 1/4" threads, and every capillary port incorporates an integrated shut-off stopcock. An additional capillary connection on the underside of the lid reaches toward the bottle base, while a ventilation valve with change indicator supports controlled pressure equalisation. Configuration comprises one capillary connection with stopcock, one yellow Ø 3,2 mm fitting on the top side and one milky-white Ø 3,2 mm fitting on the underside.
