C 200 auto, C 200 with automated water handling

C 200 auto is a package enabling operation of the C 200 combustion calorimeter with a fully automated water circuit, suited especially to laboratories with low sample numbers. Water circulates in a closed loop and is maintained at constant temperature by the RC 2 basic recirculating chiller, which shortens experimental preparation time and supports more reproducible results. Delivery comprises the C 200 calorimeter measuring cell, C 5010 decomposition vessel, C 248 oxygen station, RC 2 basic recirculating chiller, C 200.RC hose set and consumables for installation and calibration. With this standards-compliant, semi-automatic combustion calorimeter the gross calorific values of liquid and solid samples are determined. The system is used predominantly for teaching at schools, universities of applied sciences and universities; water-circuit automation also makes it attractive for industrial laboratories with modest analysis frequency. Four operating modes let the user control measurement times: isoperibol approx. 17 min, dynamic approx. 8 min, manual approx. 17 min (operator-dependent) and time-controlled 14 min. Measurements follow standards such as DIN 51900, ISO 1928, ASTM D240, ASTM D4809, ASTM D5865 and related methods. Optional C 6040 CalWin software monitors and visualises runs and exports data; the PC is not included. This package comes from manufacturer IKA.
