CellCamper® Mini is a compact freezing box designed for the gentle cryopreservation of mammalian cells such as cell lines, primary cells and stem cells. This version accommodates thirty 2,0 ml cryogenic tubes and provides a reproducible cooling rate of -1 °C per minute inside a -80 °C freezer. An innovative combination of heat-conducting alloy and highly insulating outer materials guarantees uniform heat removal from each individual sample. Because no isopropanol is used, follow-up costs are eliminated and handling is simplified. The robust construction requires no pre-cooling; the lid remains easy to open even when frozen and gloves are unnecessary for freezer retrieval. After thawing, the unit can be reused within five minutes once condensate is wiped dry. Standardised freezing yields excellent cell recovery and viability.
