Description

Centrifuge 5430 R (EU-IVD) is a refrigerated non-automatic benchtop centrifuge with foil keypad, supplied without rotor for 230 V/50–60 Hz (EU) mains. Maximum performance reaches 30 130 × g (17 500 rpm), with rotor capacity options of 48 × 1,5/2,0 mL, 6 × 50 mL or 2 × microtiter plates. Twelve interchangeable rotors deliver high versatility for liquid mixture separations in the laboratory. Automatic rotor and imbalance detection, one-finger lid handling and the Eppendorf QuickLock® rotor-lid system support safe, efficient routine work. A large backlit LC display and menu-guided operation in English, German, French and Spanish simplify control; five program keys and storage for up to 50 user settings streamline recurring protocols. This model from manufacturer Eppendorf is designed as an accessory for use together with an in-vitro diagnostic device to enable its intended purpose and meets the requirements of EU IVDR 2017/746. It is intended solely for indoor use by trained specialist personnel and is offered as one piece without rotor.

Questions about CENT 5430R KEYP, WITHOUT ROTOR, 230V

What is this article?

CENT 5430R KEYP, WITHOUT ROTOR, 230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Rotors, inside Centrifuges, in Lab instruments.

A centrifuge rotor is the rotating part that holds the tubes, and it is rated for a maximum speed and a maximum load. A swing-out rotor and a fixed-angle rotor pellet differently. A rotor from another centrifuge does not belong on this drive, even when it seems to fit.

A centrifuge separates by density. The rotor spins the sample and the force is reported as a multiple of gravity, not as a raw speed, because the same revolutions per minute are a different force at a different radius. A microcentrifuge takes small tubes. A benchtop or floor model takes larger rotors. The tube, the adapter and the rotor have to be the combination the manufacturer rated. An unbalanced load is how centrifuges fail. Measurement of the related quantities sits with the BIPM.
