Description

Centrifuge tubes with screw cap, brown polypropylene, conical bottom, sterile, 15 ml are robust sample vessels for centrifugation and routine laboratory work. Produced from high-quality brown PP on fully automated lines without manual intervention, the extremely strong tube wall withstands centrifugal forces up to 6.000 RCF. The tubes are autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 minutes; caps must remain open during autoclaving to avoid deformation. Sterile versions from manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte are manufactured in class 10.000 clean-room areas and subsequently gamma-irradiated, and are supplied with a certificate stating they are DNase-, RNase- and pyrogen-free. Polyethylene screw caps with broad ribs give a secure grip for fast one-handed opening and closing, even with gloves; a three-quarter turn achieves a hermetic, leak-proof seal. Side-wall graduations in 0,5 ml steps, a printed writing field and clear bottom volume marks support accurate filling, labelling and residual-volume checks. Individually packed sterile tubes carry lot number, production date and expiry date on the packaging. Supplied as a pack of 50 pieces.

Questions about centrifuge tubes - amber - screw cap - P.P - 15 ml - sterilised - aseptic - bulk

What is this article?

centrifuge tubes - amber - screw cap - P.P - 15 ml - sterilised - aseptic - bulk is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOLAB for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
