Description
Centrifuge tubes, separate screw cap, PP, conical, non-sterile, 15 ml are polypropylene sample tubes with a conical base for high-speed laboratory centrifugation. Manufactured from high-clarity polypropylene on fully automated lines, the robust wall is designed to withstand centrifugal forces up to 6000 RCF. Separate polyethylene screw caps feature wide grooves for secure grip and can be opened or closed with one hand; a three-quarter turn provides a hermetic, leak-resistant seal. Side-wall graduations in 0,5 ml steps allow visual volume control, complemented by a printed writing area and precise volume marks near the base. The flat cap top offers additional space for labelling. Tubes are autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 minutes when caps are left unclosed to avoid deformation. These non-sterile 15 ml conical tubes from manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte are supplied in a pack of 50 pieces for everyday sample preparation, separation and short-term storage in research and routine laboratories.

Questions about centrifuge tubes - clear - screw cap - P.P - 15 ml
What is this article?
centrifuge tubes - clear - screw cap - P.P - 15 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOLAB for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
