Description
Centrifuge tubes with separate screw cap, PP, conical, non-sterile, 50 ml are clear or amber tubes manufactured from high-quality polypropylene by fully automated processes without manual intervention. The robust tube wall is engineered to resist centrifugal forces up to 6000 RCF, supporting reliable performance in routine and high-speed separations. Supplied non-sterile by manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte, these 50 ml conical tubes are autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 minutes; caps must remain open during autoclaving to avoid deformation. Separate polyethylene screw caps feature broad external grooves for improved grip, especially when working with gloves, and an internal geometry that ensures a hermetic, leak-proof closure. A three-quarter turn is sufficient for full sealing, and the caps can be operated with one hand. Side-wall graduations in 2,5 ml steps allow straightforward visual volume assessment, complemented by a printed writing area on the tube wall and a flat cap surface for additional marking or labelling. Accurate volume indications at the base of the tube keep residual liquid volumes clearly visible. Pack of 50 pieces for general laboratory use.

Questions about centrifuge tubes - clear - screw cap - P.P - 50 ml
What is this article?
centrifuge tubes - clear - screw cap - P.P - 50 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOLAB for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
