CertoClav Classic 115/121°C is a vertical laboratory autoclave developed from the established EL 18 115/121°C design, built in corrosion-resistant, electropolished stainless steel. An integrated timer controls sterilisation duration: when the timer is active the unit switches off automatically at the end of the cycle; without the timer the autoclave is switched off manually. The chamber offers a nominal volume of 18 l in a vertical arrangement, making the instrument suitable for sterilising unpackaged solids without hollow bodies, liquids, bottles, instruments and plastics. Further typical uses include food preservation, culture-media preparation and waste sterilisation. From manufacturer CertoClav, the scope of delivery comprises a stable instrument plate with feet and minimum water-level indicator plus a power cable. Overall height is 600 mm, net weight 8,80 kg and gross weight 13 kg, providing a compact, practical autoclave for routine laboratory sterilisation tasks at the 115/121°C working range.
