Description

Chemker 411 chemical-resistant pump 230 V is a laboratory diaphragm vacuum pump engineered for the highest chemical resistance in routine chemical work. Running on AC 230 V, it reaches a maximum vacuum of −750 mmHg (13 mbar) and provides a flow rate of 18 l/min at 1450 rpm with a 1/6 HP directly driven motor. Quiet running and low vibration support comfortable bench use, and the maintenance-free construction reduces the need for regular servicing. Thermal safety shutdown and CE certification add operational safety. The unit includes a glass vapour trap and vacuum regulator for controlled vacuum handling, with a 5/16 inch (8 mm) connection. External dimensions are 20,3 × 11,2 × 20,9 cm and the weight is 7,0 kg, so the pump remains easy to place next to filtration or evaporation setups. Supplied as 1 pc from manufacturer Witeg, the Chemker 411 is intended for vacuum filtration, solvent handling and related laboratory vacuum tasks where chemical durability and integrated vapour protection are required.

What is this article?

Chemker 411 chemical-resistant pump 230 V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Witeg for laboratory use. It sits in Pumps (other) & accessories, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.

These are the pumps and fittings that are not a vacuum pump, a peristaltic pump or a drum pump. Flow, pressure and chemical compatibility of the wetted parts remain the three questions.

A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
