Description

CHROMABOND QuEChERS Mix XLIX (2,045 g) is a ready-to-use clean-up mixture for QuEChERS sample preparation in residue and contaminant analysis. Each portion is individually pre-weighed and contains 1200 mg MgSO4, 400 mg CHROMABOND Diamino, 45 mg CHROMABOND Carbon and 400 mg CHROMABOND C18 ec, giving a total mix mass of 2,045 g per tube. The sorbents are filled into 15 mL centrifuge tubes made of polypropylene with polyethylene lids, enabling direct addition to extracts and subsequent centrifugation without intermediate transfer. This Diamino/Carbon/C18 ec combination supports removal of polar matrix interferences, pigments and non-polar co-extractives in multi-residue workflows. Packaged as 50 pc(s) from manufacturer Macherey-Nagel, the format suits high-throughput food, feed and environmental laboratories that standardise clean-up steps around fixed sorbent loads. Using pre-dispensed tubes reduces weighing errors and speeds batch preparation while keeping the established QuEChERS clean-up chemistry consistent from sample to sample.

This article is part of SPE cartridges & columns, in SPE & sample preparation.

Questions about Chromab. QuEChERS Mix XLIX (2.045 g)

What is this article?

Chromab. QuEChERS Mix XLIX (2.045 g) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Macherey-Nagel for laboratory use. It sits in SPE cartridges & columns, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

An SPE cartridge holds a bed of sorbent. Bed mass, sorbent chemistry and volume are the specification. A 100 mg C18 cartridge and a 1 g C18 cartridge take different sample loads and different elution volumes. The method names all three.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
