Counting scale KERN CFS 3K-5 is a professional high-resolution counting balance for precise piece counting, inventory control and routine laboratory or production weighing. It provides a maximum load of 3 kg with 0,01 kg resolution and a counting resolution of up to 75.000 points. Automatic reference optimisation improves the average piece weight step by step, and the keypad allows programming of the desired reference quantity or a known reference weight. Three dedicated displays present weight, reference weight and total piece count clearly during operation. Checkweighing with optical and acoustic signals supports portioning, dosing and sorting tasks, and the fill-to-target function alerts the user when a programmed target quantity or weight is attained. PRE-TARE permits manual deduction of a known container weight, which is useful for fill-quantity checks. A second-scale interface is fitted as standard so that a high-resolution counting system can be set up, for example with KERN KFP V20 weighing bridges.
