Description
PULVERISETTE 15 cutting mill 200 V 3~ 60 Hz is intended for comminution of dry grinding material of soft to medium-hard consistency, fibrous or cellulose-containing materials, and for sample preparation according to RoHS. Maximum feed size is 70 × 70 mm and throughput reaches up to 50 l/h. The mill reduces material by cutting action between a rotor with straight cutting edges and fixed counter knives; progressive cutting geometry automatically advances the charge and refines it to the selected end fineness. Interchangeable sieve inserts define final particle size between 0,25 and 20 mm. High rotor speed of 2800 rpm together with air cooling supports rapid processing and helps prevent clogging. Typical applications cover plastics, rubber, leather, textiles, fibres, wood, leaves, roots, feedstuffs, grain, peat, tobacco, paper, cardboard, secondary fuels, metal-free waste, household waste, mobile-phone LCD glass and keyboards, unpopulated circuit boards, coal, horn, coated tablets, cork, drugs, heterogeneous mixtures, maize, malt, pasta, herbs, spices and dried meat. Straw, foils and similar long materials can be introduced at full length. The unit from manufacturer Fritsch offers externally adjustable cutting gap, rotatable rotor knives for doubled service life, fully hinged housing and tool-free cleaning. Supplied without feed funnel, cutting-tool set, sieve inserts, collecting vessel or stand; matching accessories are required for operation.

Questions about Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 15 200 V 60 Hz 3-phase
What is this article?
Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 15 200 V 60 Hz 3-phase is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Fritsch for laboratory use. It sits in Mills, grinders & homogenisers, inside Test sieves & mills, in Lab instruments.
A mill, grinder or homogeniser reduces particle size or breaks a tissue before an extraction. The rotor and the sieve insert decide the result. A knife mill and a bead mill are different machines. The sample has to tolerate the heat the motor puts into it.
A test sieve sorts particles by whether they pass an opening. Wire mesh and perforated plate are two ways of making that opening, and the nominal size is not a suggestion. A sieve shaker repeats the motion so the result does not depend on how hard someone shook by hand. A mill or grinder makes the particles smaller before they are sieved. The certificate of the sieve, and the opening size, are what an audit asks for. Measurement practice around mass and dimension sits with the BIPM, EURAMET and BELAC.
