Description
Hazard symbol oxidising substances GHS 03 is a self-adhesive pictogram label used to warn and mark oxidising chemicals according to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. Each sticker measures 18x26 mm and carries the signal word “Danger”; the product is supplied as one sheet containing 30 individual symbols. Since 1 December 2010, all substances must be classified and labelled under GHS, the United Nations framework that forms the foundation for worldwide harmonisation of chemical hazard communication and removes previous differences between regulations for the transport of dangerous goods and those governing the handling of hazardous substances. These WINLAB GHS symbols are printed on foil sheets designed for indoor and outdoor application on smooth surfaces. The foil is resistant to water, oil and alkalis, helping keep the pictogram legible under laboratory and industrial conditions. Offered by manufacturer Windaus under the Winlab® trademark, the labels support reliable GHS-compliant identification of oxidising substances on containers, equipment and storage locations, providing clear and standardised visual warnings wherever such materials are present.

Questions about Danger Labels (GHS), WINLAB® Oxidizing GHS 03 ''Danger''
What is this article?
Danger Labels (GHS), WINLAB® Oxidizing GHS 03 ''Danger'' is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in GHS & hazard labels, inside Labels, signs & marking, in Lab safety equipment.
A GHS label carries the pictograms, the signal word and the hazard and precautionary statements of a classification. The label stock has to survive the container. Printing a pictogram that the classification does not require is its own error. The legal text is the CLP Regulation.
A label is how the next person knows what is in the bottle. A GHS label carries the pictogram, the signal word and the hazard statements the classification requires. A tape or a marker is only as useful as its survival in the freezer, the autoclave or the solvent it will meet. A safety sign is the instruction that stays on the door. The pictograms come from the CLP Regulation and are explained by ECHA CLP. Workplace signs sit with EU-OSHA.
