Description

The detectable SteriPlast® scoop in blue polystyrene is a sterile disposable sampler with a nominal volume of 2000 ml and a length of 381 mm. Fabricated from detectable PS, it is intended for powders, granules and pastes where hygiene and traceability matter. In addition to the blue colour, a dedicated additive in the material makes the scoop detectable by metal detectors and X-ray inspection, enabling plastic pieces to be sorted out via standard foreign-body systems and colour scanners. Manufacture, assembly and packaging take place in a cleanroom class 7 environment; every scoop is individually packed and gamma-sterilised. Offered by manufacturer Bürkle in line with EU food-contact and FDA guidelines, the scoop supports HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management programmes. The sales unit comprises 10 pieces with a net weight of 2,753 kg and is aimed at food, feed and pharmaceutical operations that require reliable, contamination-conscious sampling tools.

Questions about Detectable scoops, blue, PS, sterile, 2000 ml

What is this article?

Detectable scoops, blue, PS, sterile, 2000 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.

A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.

The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
