Description
Diaphragm liquid pump LIQUIPORT® NF 1.100 KT.18 RC is a self-priming, dry-run-safe liquid transfer pump suited to laboratory and process duties. It delivers a flow rate of 0,2–1,3 l/min with water at 20 °C at zero head, a pressure head of 60 mWS and a suction height of 3 mWS. The pump head is executed in polypropylene (PP), paired with a PTFE diaphragm and FFKM valves for broad chemical compatibility. Version RC allows both manual adjustment of the delivery rate and external control. Hose connection is ID 8 mm. The unit measures 99 × 177 × 130 mm and weighs 1,5 kg, facilitating compact installation. Ambient temperature range is +5 to +40 °C and media temperature +5 to +80 °C. This LIQUIPORT® pump from manufacturer KNF supports continuous liquid conveying where flexible control options and reliable dry-run protection are needed. Optional accessories include stand and wall mounts plus a foot switch for RC operation and PTFE tubing for fluid lines.

Questions about Diaphragm Liquid Pump LIQUIPORT® NF, 1.100 KT.18 RC
What is this article?
Diaphragm Liquid Pump LIQUIPORT® NF, 1.100 KT.18 RC is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes KNF for laboratory use. It sits in Pumps (other) & accessories, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.
These are the pumps and fittings that are not a vacuum pump, a peristaltic pump or a drum pump. Flow, pressure and chemical compatibility of the wetted parts remain the three questions.
A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
