Description

Diaphragm liquid pump LIQUIPORT® NF 1.300 KT.18 RC is a versatile self-priming liquid transfer pump offering a flow range of 0,5–3 l/min at zero head with water at 20 °C. It develops a pressure head of 60 mWS and a suction head of 3 mWS and is fully dry-run safe. The pump head is manufactured from polypropylene (PP), the diaphragm from PTFE and the valves from FFKM. Version RC enables both manual flow adjustment and external control for automated or remote operation. Hose connection size is ID12 mm. Compact dimensions of 104 × 188 × 160 mm and a weight of 1,5 kg facilitate easy integration into laboratory benches or process skids. Media temperatures up to +80 °C and ambient temperatures from +5 to +40 °C are permissible. This LIQUIPORT® model from manufacturer KNF suits continuous liquid conveying tasks that benefit from dual manual/external regulation and solid chemical resistance. Optional foot switch, stand or wall mounts and PTFE tubing complete typical installations.

What is this article?

Diaphragm Liquid Pump LIQUIPORT® NF, 1.300 KT.18 RC is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes KNF for laboratory use. It sits in Pumps (other) & accessories, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.

These are the pumps and fittings that are not a vacuum pump, a peristaltic pump or a drum pump. Flow, pressure and chemical compatibility of the wetted parts remain the three questions.

A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
