Description

Vacuum double pumping unit for fine vacuum, complete is a mobile dual vacuum pump stand engineered for fine-vacuum laboratory applications. The system comprises a stainless-steel frame with working components using KF connections and borosilicate glass 3.3. It includes two vacuum units fitted with rotary vane pumps RZ 6, exhaust filters, corrugated hoses and VACUU·VIEW® extended gauges, plus high-vacuum working parts configured for grease-free operation with a PTFE shut-off valve (passage 0–15 mm) and an additional PTFE venting valve (passage 0–6 mm). Two double cold traps with glass flanges KF 50, seals and aluminium clamps are provided, together with KF DN 16 small-flange connections including seals and clamps. Four Dewar vessels that can be lowered and swung out simplify filling. The stainless-steel trolley rides on four castors (two lockable) and features an intermediate shelf rated to 150 kg load capacity. This complete assembly from manufacturer Rettberg reaches a total ultimate pressure of 10⁻³ mbar according to DIN 28432 and is delivered by freight forwarding for laboratory installation.

Questions about Double-vacuum pump stand for fine vacuum, complete

What is this article?

Double-vacuum pump stand for fine vacuum, complete is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Rettberg for laboratory use. It sits in Vacuum pumps, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.

A laboratory vacuum pump lowers pressure for filtration or evaporation. A diaphragm pump tolerates solvent vapour better than an oil-sealed rotary vane pump, and it reaches a milder vacuum. The ultimate vacuum and the flow, and whether the wetted path survives the solvent, are the choices.

A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
